Smoking bzp in any form is akin to smoking laquer.

Um, thanks for that sweeping decleration..
Why do you say "freebase"? You some how liberated the chemical of it's HCl salt and smoked the freebase, or you simply smoked it and figured that 'freebase' is somehow the fitting term?
Personally I think anyone this lesson could be better learned the hard way by anyone thats so fixed on smoking a research chem, especially one thats really not that pleasurable to consume in ANY form.. I couldnt even imagine what that crap would taste like when smoked..
 
Yes, oh great granddaddy of dope, the chemical was liberated from the salt and then smoked. When I said "in any form" I meant to imply that I tried it in the salt form first, then tried the freebase. And it's fucking noxious. So I agree with you for the most part, except when you imply that it has no value. It's just not a meth substitute, you're not going to get tweaked on it. It's a nice MILD stimulant. I'd rather do BZP than drink a few cups of coffee for a mild alert. But it's certainly not worth doing for it's recreational value, I agree.

Isn't BZP available as a base for less $ than the HCl/DiHcl salt? Is this base unusable (I have heard that it is dangerous, or at least not such a good thing to use the base w/out converting it to the HCl form.

Yeah, it's going to amp you more then a cup of coffee but it's really not that great IMO.. the shit also has a lot of side effects and we really don't know anything about it's long term effects .. meth gives a nice clean high, but BZP just feels like you took some toxic chemical.. never played with the freebase, I didn't know they even sold a freebase form..
