This is what I do

You could ask for superfine longtip 1cc insulin syringes but you will not get exactly what you want (and depending on the person helping you, usually a pharm tech, you might not even get 1/2" pins).

I just write it down on paper becuase they always fuck up and give me 1/2cc insetad of 1cc when I ask for 1cc 1/2" 29g insulin syringes.

You could be nice and say anything around 29g is fine... but for me, I NEED 1/2," the 5/16" really doesn;t d it for me.

Also, if you do use 1/2" the smallest guage youll get wil be 30g. I still prefer a 29g just for the ease of pushing the plunger. I'll even make do with 27 or 28g as long as I am only using them for one poke.
 
i found carrying a ripped piece of paper with the needle size etc you want (mckesson 27g 1/2inch 1cc for example) written on it and say it like you would your girlfriend giving you a grocery list and asking an employee if they have it usually helps.
 
I live in Florida, where you can also buy needles without a prescription. It doesn't always work like that though. I think i have tried about 5 places, only successful once.

I never tried wall-mart though.

Yeah in NYC they have the new 10pin rule for harm-reduction but its up to the pharmacy. I have noticed that NO mom&pop pharmacies will sell that shit..its like they are scared or something. It's fuckin legal! shit pisses me off so bad. Then you just walk a block to a chain pharm and buy the shits

I go to school in PA, I ordered a box of 100 30ga 1cc insulin syringes on Amazon.com for about 15 bucks, they came in about 3 days. They have 3cc syringes as well but the needle is 25ga i think which was too big for me. The needles I got are short (5/16") but they have the 1/2" ones in 29ga I think. I love the ones I have.

For real? I used to go to Mom & Pop pharmacies a lot and never had a problem... might depend on the area, etc. I just never had trouble buying needles in NYC though I didn't do it often.
 
It definitely depends specifically on the store you are going to. I probably got unlucky, I only tried like 3 mom and pop stores the whole time I was buying needles. I just stick with Duane Reade, CVS, Rite Aide, whatever... I don't even waste my time going into mom&pops anymore.

Actually thinking back, one time I did get lucky, I went to some place in midtown and asked for a 10 pack, they gave me fuckin 10 individually wrapped needlees and said $15, i am like WHAT THE FUCK., They were $1.50 a peice, talk about ripping off the addict. You can get a 10 pack from any fucking store for $2.99 or less. Or walk out the syringe access/needle exchange with 30-100 for fucking free. Grimy bastards.
