love is a butterfly
on delicate wings
when one is near
we cherish the joy it brings
but fears of crushing it
cause it to cease
causing the butterfly
to fly far out of reach
if you wait a little while though
it will fly back towards the ground
and your long lost love
you have once again found
then hopefully
you will see
to hold tighter to love
for it isn't crushed so easily!
