Misc Butalbital high ?

I have never taken a barbiturate in my life . I have taken plenty and plenty of pharmaceuticals , I was wondering what the highs like ? And right now I'm on 6mgs of klonopin, and I snorted some Ritalin but am I on the come down would it be safe to take 150mgs of butalbital now?

There tends to be a delayed reaction with butalbital. The high per say, will kick in, if you take 3 or 4 after 2-3 hrs at times. Kind of like being drunk and can make you really nauseous. I would have some Zofran and Pepto handy for the nausea
 
I wouldn't mix with benzos, would be a east of good barbiturates as it would reduce the "good feeling".
Also don't take it on Ritalin unless you are 100% down.

I for one, am in butalbital right now, and find that it feels nothing like being drunk (which is great because being drunk sucks).
I've never experienced the delayed reaction but I take it 3-4 times per week so you may only get a delayed reaction if you don't do it often. For me it kicks in fully after about an hour.

It really has a high all its own, but the closest thing I would compare it to is opiates (as far as the feeling). It doesn't feel like opiates, but that's the closest comparison.

It makes me feel nice and relaxed, pain free, but with energy and a drive to do things. Also makes me feel just happy.

I mix it with bupe, caffeine (in addition to the caffeine in the particular pills I get), and lots of nicotine for best results.
I'd only mix with bupe or opiates if you have an opiate tolerance though. Unless you mix it with a low dose, then that is fine. (Or if you get the butalbital with codeine you're set).

But yeah it just overall feels great.

But seriously don't take it with benzos, it's a waste and you won't really experience the euphoria-- you'll just get more zombies and possibly puke.

Wait til you're off of the benzos, you'll be glad you did.
If you are addicted to benzos or something or for any reason must do them-- take only a low dose with the butalbital, like .5 - 1.0 mg kpin.
 
Yeah I'd definitely recommend.
Especially if you're the kind of person that likes opiates or kratom.

I've found people that like that type of high are also really into barbiturates. (Although they are not the same feeling, it's relatively similar in terms of euphoria-- although... Different... Idk it's hard to describe)

But yeah if you get some, I do not think you'll be disappointed.

It's so great to take some butalbital and go on a walk or play some video games... Really enhances whatever it is you find enjoyable.

Also if you do opiates or bupe I'd recommend a combo, but only if you have a decent opioid tolerance.
 
Oh and can someone tell me a good dose for a first timer keeping in mind I am not looking to get really messed up.
 
Don't mix the drugs if you value your life the barbs will most likely get you messed up but not in a good way.

Don't mix barbs and benzos. Or With any drugs to get high really.
 
Barbiturates are the old school, more lethal cousins of benzos.

Don't mix them with opioids, alcohol or benzos if you value your life.

Should say "with opioids in HIGH DOSES if you value your life"

Barbiturates and opiates are very often prescribed together.
Often in the same pill.

But I agree about not mixing with benzos.
Not only is it dangerous but it will negate your high.

Butalbital - 50-100mg for a first timer, if you aren't looking to get messed up.

Usually comes in pills with caffeine and APAP/aspirin, although some also have codeine.

Anyway I'd recommend taking it alone for the first time, unless you have the ones with codeine already in them.

With barbs, above all, be careful and ease into any dosage. Don't just take a bunch til you know how it will effect you.

I personally know 3 people prescribed them... (Barbiturates), and two of those are prescribed butalbital AND codeine together.
All 3 have been given them in the past 6 months.

At least where I live, they are very often prescribed for migraine/tension/cluster headaches.

So it's curious that you say they're not often prescribed.
What country or state/province do you live in?
