so i sit
drowning in memories.
warm air taking me back to
a warm beer and
shared words.
here i am
suffocating in the
thick air and
i can't help but think
this would be a
comforting thought
if it wasn't just a memory.
swallowing your madness
into me
this communion of sorts
unneeded
unabriged
unobtainable.
anything and everything
to understand
you.
to know.
you.
standing under
starry skies
my demise
as usual
i find myself
upon summer nights
with
a
winter heart
and i
fall
down
again.
if you could only see...
i play
hidden messages in my heart
words upon meanings upon definitions upon everything.
for you
for all the things
i could never tell you
contained
in the words of another.
its an easy excuse...
its the simple way out
so i speak in codes
in words rhymed and metered
perfectly to attract
no attention
in the background
i remain
for no one
and everyone
to see.

I hate this word but.....wow.....
I tried to find my favourite bit to put into a quote and I honestly can't work out what part I like the most. The whole thing is beautiful.

Very good and very expressive.
I really liked this too. It had the feel of a conversation, yet it was without the other side. To be honest though, I didn't need to hear the other side. It seems painfully obvious that the person that this was directed toward would not let you say the things that you need or want to say. It's awful to be stiffled. Focus on the freedom you now have.

whenever I need to say something but just cant do it, like telling someone how i feel etc. I always email or textmessage song lyrics that say what I want to say.so far I dont think anyones figured out the code but.....hopefully one day someone will :)
you have stunningly beautiful writing.I loved it.
