Saw this last night, was surprised that kratom was a major plot point in the movie! It was an unrealistic portrayal of the drug, but still interesting. Funnier movie than the critics are saying.

How much is Jim Carrey in it? I keep seeing it advertised as a Steve Carell movie. While I do find him funny (loved him in The Office for example) I think putting it as a Steve Carell/Jim Carrey flick would be a better selling point unless Jim Carrey isn't in the film all that much.

Not the new seasons so much, but I did enjoy the first 7 seasons. Once Steve Carell left it just wasn't the same anymore. What didn't you like about it? Too mundane?

Honestly you're right, the first two or three seasons were great (Even though they were copied exactly from the British version). But it seemed like seasons 5 and on it just wasnt funny. Like after an entire episode I would think "holy shit I didn't laugh once". I was just kidding with you though man, to each his own.

I hate The Cleveland Show, I'm sick to death of Family Guy, but I really kinda like American Dad. FG & TCS both have main characters who have varying levels of mental retardation and use random, non-sequitur humor but American Dad is more like a traditional sitcom, and each of the characters feel unique from each other (except for Klaus who is the most pointless character of any TV show ever). Like every show it has its highs and lows but even the worst American Dad is usually better than the best Family Guy, and it's always better than the best Cleveland Show.

^ It's okay. Certainly no Peep Show but it's got some good laughs.

I think it's still on Netflix.
