Bupe Buprenorphine ROA question

How come when you use subutex sublingually it absorbs in 10 minutes and you feel the full effects in 25 mins, but when you snort buprenorphine, it takes 60 minutes to feel full effects?

How does that make any sense in terms of using any opiate intranasally?
Will someone please enlighten me, and I couldn't find anything related to this question on this site, but maybe I just wasn't thorough enough.

i feel it is the opposite as to what you describe. for me, nasal bupre, i feel beginning effects within 5-15 mins, if i haven't taken suboxone in 72+ hrs, i feel the effets of nasal bupre instantly.

if i stick a full pill under my tongue it takes 20-45mins for me to feel it, but if i crush up the pill into powder and put it under my tongue i feel effects within 15mins
 
Really? I know what you mean, I always feel bupe almost instantly like you said, but DEFINITELY not the full effects until 60 minutes in.
 
Really? I use 16mg of HI-TECH (really small subutex pills, no filled whatsoever) everyday, and I blow each separately throughout each day for the past year now. And somehow I manage to get a DECENT high out of each occasion, it's incomparable to a nice H high, however it still gives me enough euphoria to look forward to do it again.

I've been on 8 mg of bupe for 8 months, and now I switched to 16mg because I talked my doctor into it. I honestly get a good high from it each time, definitely no nod, but I feel it, if that counts as being high.
Tolerance is a bitch sometimes though and I wish I could feel it more.

If you're looking to get euphoria from the bupe, increasing your dose is actually counterproductive. It's much more euphoric at lower doses, doses even lower than 8mg's.. The sweet spot for those effects seems to be 2mg and under.
 
I heard about that but I never full understood it. I take 8mg at a time, I used to take 4 and get just as high if not higher but I assumed that was from the tolerance.
Would me taking 2mg of bupe in my nose knowing that I have a year long 16mg a day tolerance actually get me comparably high to taking 8mg?
