You're right.

Mugabe; whatever you find is settling to the bottom is inactive ingredient, you can filter that out.

Buprenorphine is fully soluble in water, especially at 1mg/mL.

I just created 1mg/mL solution out of Suboxone tablets, it was easy.

I also plug my subs, as the taste makes me gag. I was curious about plugging with alcohol, and I see that you had a bad experience. How exactly? Im sure it can't be good for you with extended use, but did it burn or irritate you?

^ Well, I can only speak for myself, but plugging anything above 10 % ethanol burns quite badly. Above 20 % and I can't keep it in. I never did bupe this way though, but other opioids like oxymorphone seem to have a quicker onset and slightly higher BA with a bit of ethanol in the solution.

Propylene glycol also seems to do the trick without causing irritation, but I can't back it up with any science.

I Don't know all about that.....there are two huge veins running under your tongue, which is why you put it underneath. Saliva would wash it out before it could be absorbed.

Alcohol is corrosive, as you know, and why not wear down the membrane infront of the two veins a bit. Better, quicker absorption. That's my take.

All alcohols and water are of course polar molecules, so they will dissolve bupe to some degree. It BUPE was not soluble you would have powder that just sat in your mouth.

Put baby powder in your mouth and that's kind of the idea.
I've never done it, I'm just saying, of course it fairly soluble.

Yeah, keeping it under the tongue is important. alcohol isn't corrosive though. it's better solvent and permeates mucus membranes better.

What about the time release Bupe patches.....I have the ones that release 5µg per hour, I cut out a 1-5th of a strip and I was planning on dissolving in boiling water adding ISA in 80:20 proportions and making a solution to plug, since I'm wasting so much, the trandermal BA is only 15% and I hate the fact that 85% of my bupe is going to waste.....so with bupe patches-time released bupe do yoiu think this method will work....I only have beer now but been chewing on a strip I cut out (they look more like a big band aid than one of the fentanyl patches with the gel reservoir) and did the listerine thing for about 10mins till it burned so bad I couldn't stand it and then started drinking beer with the strip still under my tongue.....the transdermal bupe always says heat increases it's BA hence why I decided to use boiling water.....I don't wanna waste more bupe, though transdermal is very dandy and discrete and a patch lasts a week I want to have some fun too....ahhh if only I had buprenex, I remember back in the day IVing bupe made me nod harder and longer than diacetylmorphine...not planning on IVing, just plugging I can stand a 20:80 etoh-h20 solution up my arsechwitz...what bothers me the most is knowing if I broke the time release right.....the patches I have are made in germany, and generally used as analgesics, not for manteinance, they are also available in australia under the name Nospar, down here they are called Restiva....but they are the same, I just hate knowing out of 5mg of bupe I'm getting less than a mg. And yeah I'm on a budget too since they are expensive as fuck and my insurance compoany dioesn't cover it. So any suggestionss are more than welcome
