Buprenorphine analogues

Just to let you guys know, I never asked for anyone to help me with synthesis, I need a couple people to help with the research into these compounds. Pretty much someone to draw them out on paper for me. Figure out there effects and if there chemically similar to anything illegal..I do not intend on making any of these compounds.


Lets just say im writing a book on it....
 
Why would you think of buprenorphine analogues of all things if you want something legal? There are a good few opioids that are completely structurally distinct from anything illegal so going for a phenanthrene derivative is dumb for starters.

I think the more important thing to note though is that if you sell RC opioids they will be scheduled within a week of the first person who dies from an overdose and you will be hunted down as if you had murdered them deliberately.

There is no doubt that this is an interesting area of pharmacology but some care is needed when discussing these things on public forums.
 
ditto what mad scientist said. still, curious as to weather something as simple as a conc. mineral acid one step heavier than HCL would be able to sever cyclopropyl from cyclopropyl methyl, while adding brom to the cyclo, and leaving the tert amine with just the methyl fragment.
 
I have a few comments on this thread that aren't related to whether it's appropriate for Bluelight or not.

1. Why buprenorphine analogs? Where did you get this stupid idea?

2. There is a demand for RC opioids. This demand will someday be met, regardless of law enforcement policy. Do those who take offense at the suggestion risk sounding as silly as abstinence-only sex educators?

3. Someone please look at herkinorin.
 
I think the answer to "why bupe?" is because he thought a bupe analog would not be covered by the Controlled Substances Act (bupe is sch. III in the US).

I hate to think I burst his bubble. ;)
 
exactly why, the analogue law only cover schedule 1 and 2 so in theory its not a stupid idea. i just didn't have all the information. So why don't you guys stop insulting me. It really kind of childish. What other opiates would not be chemically similar to any schedule 1 or 2 drugs.

Im just looking for info for a client who is just looking to research this avenue. If anything goes commercial available it will not be sold for consumption and there will have to be signed agreements between both parties. So that if some one did violate this and ingested said compound it would be on them.
