Bupe withdrawal question

Hey guys,
Had a question about Suboxone.
Here's the scoop, been using about a half gram of heroin just about every day for a month and a half, I'm currently on day 3 without using. I toughed it out the first day, then on day 2 I took ~2 mg of Suboxone to ease the WD a bit (this type does not contain Naloxone for whatever reason), and today I took about 1mg, and I plan on taking the remaining 1mg over the next 2 days. My question is, will I withdraw from the Subs? Do the Subs extend the heroin WD, or are they entirely separate? Sorry if this question has been answered before, I searched extensively and couldn't find a specific answer.
Thanks all,

Bolt

I believe you arw just prolonging the heroin withdrawal. Suboxone is an incredibly potent, obviously, as very few mgs are needed to stave wds. Be ready to take some immodium!

I don't have as much hands-on experience with bupe as some others but I tend to agree that with that kind of schedule you're just prolonging the heroin withdrawals. Of course the bupe takes a while to work its way out of your system so maybe the very beginning won't be as bad, but that's a decent heroin habit to be coming off of and it's only gonna be a few days of suboxone. I think there's a possibility you'll have softened the WDS some but are probably still in for close to the same duration and intensity as you would have been otherwise. Imodium, indeed.

Every so often I hear of someone doing basically this type of suboxone dosing to pretty good effect, but I don't know what kind of addictions those success stories were dealing with, nor do I have any real idea how that went long term.

Whatever you end up needing to do to kick it, good luck.

Personally, I think you might just be prolonging the withdrawals. Back before I got on the suboxone program, I tried this. I had a serious opana/OP/OxyContin addiction, or pretty much anything I could get my hands on. I attempted to get clean using suboxone, doing the same thing you are doing, and found myself on day 4 or 5 experiencing severe withdrawals. I don't know if it was from the subs or what but it didn't help me. This is what made me decide to get on sub maintenance.. Which was also a pretty shitty decision, but at least I haven't spent the last 2 years searching up and down for opiates.

I sure hope you end up having a different experience. I don't have much experience in H, only in potent opiates. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies guys. Sounds like I'm in for a fun time when these subs wear off. Do you guys think extending the taper is a good idea? I can get my hands on quite a few if I need to.

You can speed up the taper if you take a few datura bulbs then mix up 1 part DMT to 1 part crack and just smoke that whenever you get horny

potentiation

if you add cimetidine and diphenhydramine (benadryl) both otc cheap very safe meds, can potentiate the effects of, well lets use my example, Bupe. bupe for instance would hit harder n last stronger on me.... etc etc with other opioids.. so use those meds to potentiate your last little bits. I'm telling you from experience.:D

Hey bacon, great idea on the Benadryl. Stuff works great. Just an update if anyone cares, don't ask me how but somehow after tapering I had absolutely zero withdrawal symptoms. Seems I've cheated the system.

Doans work great for bupe DT's you just have to wait like 48hrs after bupe dose to take em but it works extremely well, just make sure you don't get addicted to doans in the process. Hope this helps.
