Bulk Extraction Thread

Since we don't have one yet, I'd like to make a thread dedicated to drug extraction in bulk quantities.
 
I'm looking to extract the alks from about 300g of ground dry P. cubensis that I grew. I'm thinking of dissolving the powdered shooms into 10L water and stirring vigorously. I will then filter the water through some coffee filters and do 3 more pulls. After the water is ready, I will put it through a 50 micron filter. The water will be vacuum purged off at 90F. After the water is removed, I will wash the extract with acetone until it comes out clear. Then I will wash with Et2O doing the same procedure as with the acetone.
 
4 and 5 sub oxygenated Tryptamine alkaloids oxidize readily in water plz do not waste and do that. Your best bet is continuous ext with non polar solvent at room temp, however mushrooms and many plants are acidic and difficulty extracting these compounds may exist. If you could ext something then you should acidify to form a fumarate salt or something, do not use water........ This thread probably will be locked..
 
read the literature, there is no point in a "bulk extraction thread" because every extraction is different...

and bl is not meant to help you with "bulk" chemistry anyway

also, removing water under vacuum is not as easy as you would expect.....
