Hello

I've recently started my buprenorphine treatment. At the moment I'm on 2 mg of buprenorphine and 0,5 mg naloxone. Tomorrow I'm getting 4 mg buprenorphine and 1 mg naloxone.

They watch me when I take it, and I have to drink afterwards, so there's really no chance of getting it out to plug, insufflate or shoot it. Therefore I'm wondering if I'll get better or worse effect by taking it buccal instead of sublingual.

I have searched but I really didn't find any good information on this.

What do you think? Even if you don't know: have you tried taking it through the buccal ROA? Is it the same as sublingual, better, or worse?

best regards

buccal ba isnt as high as sl.. you can try the 'mouthwash' or 'alcohol' method, to try to increase bioavailibility..
