bubbler vs. bong

bubblers are pretty nice for their small size, but thats exactly what I hate about them as well. They are small so you can't get a really good big rip usually. They have small chambers for water so it gets dirty really fast so you have to change the water often. Getting the water the right level in all of the chambers is pretty hard on some pieces as well, having to turn them every which way to get the water out is a pain.

All-in-all, bubblers suck, but I do like them from time to time. But I'd take a large bong over one anyday.
 
Ill throw in a vote for bubbler its the perfect balance of the conservation you get with a pipe and the filtering you get with a bong
 
Both can be very nice. I bought a single-chamber bubbler when I still lived with my parents and needed to be discreet. It does have a smaller chamber but can still produce large, smooth hits without a problem. The water does get dirty quicker and you sort of have to pick your poison when emptying the chamber - you usually have to empty it through the mouth piece but rinsing the piece makes it okay or you can empty in through the carb but it will probably get into the bowl and mouthpiece. It's easiest to put clean water in it through the bowl, which means you'll need to dry it out before putting weed it in - not really a big deal.

I'd say bongs are probably a little better, but not as much as the people on this forum will try to say. Buy a nice piece from a reputable blower and you'll be happy either way.

Also, pay a little extra and find a bubbler with a diffused downstem. It's difference is much more noticeable on the smaller piece.
 
Bubblers? Arent they toy little bottles with a cone peice rammed in? I really have never heard of them

I rather like my bubbler.....

It rips pretty hard, large bowl, big carb so its easy to clear....

The only issue is its one of the few pieces i own that i bought with the idea of "This is going to break one day" it has a standard bowl and downstem part for the main chamber but the rest of the pipe makes an 'S' on its side from the bowl to the mouthpiece.... gives the smoke more time to cool down and looks cool traveling through it....

I bought it because i needed something smaller than a bong, but still wanted a water pipe.... The first and only bong i have bought was taken by the parents, it was the 2nd bong they had taken (the other one was my sisters mini bong)....

I still have my first bowl, my first bubbler, and my first one hitter... I only named the one hitter, due to the reaction most people have to it, i named it crackpipe..... because it looks like a crackpipe... There are other reasons for having something that is easily used as a crackpipe than crack, like DMT....
 
Bubblers are great for portability. Now that one of my friends has one, there's really no need to roll anymore.

But, if you're just going to keep your piece in a room go for the bong, without a doubt.

My rule of thumb: when the floor's no longer visible, it's time to do a load of laundry.

Nice piece, though. I've always liked bubblers more than bongs.

yea, i think i had to look through the clothes basket for something that had been in a pocket and tore it all to fuck and just decided "fuck it, i will clean up later"....
 
Thanks for clearing that up ive have used a bubbler, but didnt really enjoy. Could of been that i was smoking at school
