Bruises from banging???

Ok so the other day..errr about three days ago I shot up 50units, 50mg., of demerol in my vein in my chest. Its the only vein ive been able to find but the only problem is I got a fat bruise?!?! I injected it slowly and I hit the vein on the first try. Is there something I can do to prevent this? Am I doing something wrong? I've done it before and it didn't bruise like this. Help would be nice...

Do you keep hitting the same spot? What does the bruise look like? Probably it will heal if you just find another injection site...
Not sure what else I can tell you as I've never shot into my chest (the shoulder area?), and I usually get somebody else to do it for me.
Pathetic maybe, but dead sexy when it's a female.
 
i usually get bruising if I go in a vein I havent used before or dont use very often.
It seems to depend on where though, like getting a tattoo hurts more in certain places.I dont THINK it's abnormal, assuming everything was clean.
 
That's what I'm thinking. I talked to my friend and he said that since I am sticking the needle in my chest (errr in my boobs) that all the fat is probably th reason. Piercing the body somtimes bruises and sometimes doesn't. Thanks for the help.

I'm thinking you probally have a better veins in your arms... Tie off and look for them. If you can't see them, you might be able to feel them if you tie off, and if you can't feel them they're still there so you could just do a few blind pokes in the right area, hope for a mushroom
 
Open your hand and compress down firmly on the area for 3min after you've injected. Should work everytime.

Neosporin can greatly help, as can Lansonil or Hirudoid.. you also might have missed part of the vein and inject under the skin - this can cause a bruise..
