It's been 5 days since we've spoke
I had to make the choice not to be hurt anymore
My choice didn't make me feel much better at first
But it will
It's already started.

I loved you with all my heart....
and I always will
But I've decided not to be lead on anymore
Not to sleep on the couch
Because the bed is too empty without you
Not to sit around waiting for you to call
Cause you never do when you say you will
Decided not to be lied to constantly
Not to wait for you anymore
While you're out not even thinking about me

And I've decided not to put all my heart where it's wasted

I'm better than that......
I never was before
I was a horrible person before I was with you
Many people know that
You knew that
Amy....you sure as hell know it....you were there
But i'm not that person anymore
I changed that for you
And I'll be damned if I let myself be treated that way

So the final goodbye has been said
And I now sleep in the bed again
But it doesn't feel so empty anymore
I've learned to place the pillows just right
To replace the one I gave back to you
My security pillow
For when you weren't there
But I've realized you haven't been there in awhile
Longer than just physically
So I won't be needing the pillow to replace you

Maybe you could go through your room for me
And find something to replace the heart you stole
And broke
It would be a nice thing to have again
Cause I no longer feel anything inside
