Misc Brand Name vs. Generic

Do the effects from the brand name medications give you a different feeling than the generic kind of the same stuff?

I have been wondering this for some time now and I haven't ever had the chance to test it for myself bc my pharmacy always gives the generic of whatever kind medication I get.

They both contain the same medication. The difference is the name brands are held to a higher standard, they must always be almost exactly the amount as stated for the pill. For example if its supposed to be 30mg's oxycontin it will be very close if not a little more than 30mg's. Generic's are held to a lower standard, I dont remember what, say 90%, so they may get away with that 30mg pill only being 26mg's. Something like that who cares.
