I went through a fair bit of mephedrone this weekend and the brain zaps have arrived as expected. However, something most unusual just happened. I felt the most intense brainzap ever, which was a very loud sound in my bad followed instantly by this super powerful rushing sensation throughout my body and really loud rigning, rushing and the feeling of rushing blood in my brain! that lasted approx 15 seconds. I could not move at all or make any sound, I was unable to control or move any part of my body. It felt like a tsunami over my body, very overwhelimg. After it stopped, my lags lashed about for a few seconds without me dooing anything...
Wtf

Lay off the drone maybe!

What's the context of this? Were you trying to sleep? If so, might have been sleep paralysis. If not, I'm stumped.

It could have been a seizure, either eplileptic or non-epileptic. Doesn't sound severe though.

^ if it was a seizure he would have been vibrating rather than unable to move.

As JSP said, likely just sleep paralysis. Think this is basically caused by part of the brain falling asleep and part staying awake, it's fairly common after stims.

Used to get something similar to what you're describing when I was most heavily into Mephedrone. Lay off it for a while, if not forever. Helluva drug.

ive had exactly the same thing a few times, after fairly long meph and alcohol sessions, its kinda like sleep paralisis or something. very odd, scared me. my body was shaking and i felt a very shivery intense rush over me, couldnt control my body for around 10/15 secs like you, came out of it feeling weird like i had just had a fit or something. was like sleep paralysis combined with something

what your describing sounds a lot like self asphyxiation. The rush your speaking of i mean.

thats odd my friend. was it pleasurable or no?

Wow you sound fucked ;)

It's sleep paralysis, my friend. I've had it from brain zaps too. It isn't nice.

same here. i've had it from wayyy overdoing mdma. it's like a brain zap/sleep paralysis combo, i can deal with brain zaps but the sleep paralysis is scary as shit. remember that 5-ht helps regulate sleep as well. you overdid the drone. you can try 5-htp but don't take more than 100mg or so of it. when i had the sleep paralysis i decided to take 400mg of 5-htp and, for me, it actually made the situation worse. but 100mg 5-htp seemed to help rather than make it worse. just my .02

Convulsions don't need to be a part of a seizure. There are many different forms of seizures. I wasn't suggesting he had a tonic-clonic seizure, but maybe a minor psychogenic or epileptic seizure such as a complex partial seizure.

Wtf, is right!

Unfortunate experience. Any info on ivory wave and how it's used? I'm doing it right now & stressing - is that normal?

Not always, not all seizures are accompanied by "vibrating" It sounds like it has aspects from a seizure, but I couldn't pin-point it, there are many many many varieties of seizures.

This thread has turned into speculation, which is the opposite of harm reduction.

If you're getting such effects from mephedrone, it is probably a sign that you need to reduce your intake.
