I'm hoping someone can help. My doctor is stumped but suggests that I probably have one or more brain lesions causing me problems with working memory.

I forget what I'm talking about (like entirely forget the topic) about 5 times in a 10 minute conversation.

I also have trouble finding words. Not really tip-of-the-tongue, but dysnomia. I can't remember what the word is, but I can remember what it means. If I were to forget the word 'table,' I might say "Go sit at the... uh... you know, that thing where you sit down to eat dinner at?" "table?" "Yeah, go sit at the table."

It's getting worse and worse though. And this began before I ever used drugs (excepting smoking weed twice). It's not even just talking. I forget what I'm meaning to type all the time. It has taken me 25 minutes to write this already.

Any help regarding what sorts of conditions might cause this or where lesions or tumors might be located to elicit these deficits because my doctor doesn't seem to be the brightest guy and I'm still waiting on insurance approval to get my head scanned.
