An excerpt from a book I am writing, let me know how you interpret it. 
Water ripples calmly under my feet, reflecting the world above. The wood of the pier in which I sit is damp from the ocean air. Even in this calming place, my mind is whirring with thoughts. Thoughts in which I never imagined I would be thinking. Paranoia induced by minuscule chances of tragedy, by barely rational phobias of ways my heart could stop beating. Thoughts that came about through my curiosity, that has led me to believe the unfathomable, in areas of dark and light.
The sound of birds chirping all around me flow into my ear as beautiful vibrations, but are lost in the uncontrollable violent shaking translation of my perception. This shaking, originates from beneath my sternum, and proceeds to consume the core of my body. Too often have I felt this sensation, caused from my minds delusional tendencies. I turn to pretty blue pressed tablets, to put me back on stable ground, where I can look up and ponder what is, without being pushed over by the wind of fear.
