Hey guys, not entirely new to the forum, but definitely new to posting. Was finally inspired to post here, I just moved to Montreal and I've been very inspired by the stories here related to opioid withdrawl. Let's just say moving to a new city can suck in that regard!

Bienvenue à Bluelight! :)
Je suis Canadienne aussi, à partir de Winnipeg.

I wish I really knew more French, specifically grammar. Went to Montreal this past summer. Was beautiful! I would love to go back. <3

I hope you find yourself at home here! If you have any questions about the site feel free to ask :)

Bonne Journée!

Welcome Ketamisc, And congrats on your move to Montreal. Hockey fan? Aren't ALL Canadians hockey fans? haha ! kidding of course,I played when I was a kid and I'm a huge fan of the T.B. Lightning. Your Montreal Habs just beat the crap outta us in the playoffs so Montreal is not my favorite place ...at the moment.lol. Anyway.... Are you going through wd's now? If so from what ? Welcome aboard a great forum..

Ahh such a friendly bunch here, always loved reading here when going through rough times. I moved here from Edmonton for a new job, and to get away from "other" things. I know many of the people on these forums have had it *alot* worse than I, but going cold turkey off of 160mg of oxy a day still sucks. I've survived the worse of it so far, it's been about 4 days since I ran out and I feel like my legs have changed their mind and have decided they want to be attached to my body again :D.

Believe it or not, I'm one of the four Canadians who doesn't follow hockey. I think I'm going to have to learn though, when the Habs beat the Bruins my new neighbourhood exploded - honking, hooting and hollering. I'm a nerd and care more about World of Warcraft lol.

That's awesome, i'm glad you're holding up. (:
Same here. I don't really follow up on sports. Im almost a total opposite of a typical canadian.

Hiya Ketamisc - and welcome above the Bluelight ship!

We're a welcoming, friendly and supportive bunch here and there's many knowledgeable people in regards to harm reduction and drug-related subjects. There's also a few newcomers to Bluelighters, as of late, who are either from Canada, or currently live in Canada - which you may find helpful.

As there's no real locality forum for Canada, I'll give you the links to the three locality forums that Bluelight has here.
- Australian Drug Discussion
- European and African Drug Discussion (EADD)
- North n South American Drug Discussion

and some social stuff
- New Members Introductions (NMI) Social Thread
- Adoption Programme

and some formal stuff
- BLUA (Bluelight User Agreement)
- Greenlighter's Guide

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Enjoy!

Evey
