the cold is too much for me
so i just hold on to you tighter
getting my warmth from inside
reveling in you (plus) me
this situation is refreshing
a change of pace
and the words flow from our lips
until the time they aren't needed anymore.
timing is perfect and unknowingly
you have reaffirmed my faith
in my faith.
we drive thru dark citys
no words spoken
entwined in the back of some car
and regardless of how much or
how often i feel
exhausted and unsure
all in all
i am warm.
