Bluelights help for new Fri night party

Hi all ......
In conjunction with a few of the other smaller crews in Melbourne a new Friday night weekly event is being planned and we're looking for any other crews to help us. At the moment we've got the SlowRush crew (they used to put on Glow Fridays), the Raves Dot Com Crew, the Car Park Crew, the Unity Crew (unity is today at RMIT), the Synergy crew and various others. If there is anyone from the Bluelight crew that would like to come along and help to put on a weekly party let me know.
Any profit that we make on these parties will be used later to put on a bigger rave. All that is asked is that people help in organisation, make others aware of the party and bringing along yourselves and your friends to help make it a success.
The music style will range from banging hard doof techno to trance to whatever else makes people dance and be happy.
It's an opportunity for the smaller crews to create something for ourselves and our friend, have some fun and play a part in the Melbourne scene that we all love. We're all getting very excited about it and the more the merrier.
This is genuine and I hope I didn't break any Bluelight codes of practise laws by posting this - but everyone's welcome and we'd love to see some more crews participating. We'd really like to see this become a success with they right sort of fun smiling crowd and good vibes and the Bluelighters seem to fit that description. These guys are also willing to help out with the Bluelight party later on if you all would like them to.

but while i'm here i might float the idea of an official bluelight presence at this party (and others), maybe even testing pills on site and handing out leaflets? anyone keen for that?

why off site? whats the point of that? its done in america and in europe, and altho we would have to clear up some legal issues to do with it, it is very possible...

Thanks to everyone who wrote to me, I'll be sending you an email this afternoon with the details for the next meeting so you can come along and listen to what we've got going on.
I think a strong Bluelight presence would be great - altho I have to question the legalities of pill testing in Melbourne. I know they do it in the states - perhaps here it could be done off site? Personally I think it's a great idea and know that it would be a service that would be greatly appreciated and used by many people.
I look forward to seeing some of you at the meeting, thanks for the enthusiasm on behalf of everyone

On the legal side .. hmmmm ... if you have a stand, someone gives you ONE pill to test, can you be done on possession ?
There's no transaction, no deals, and it's only one .... you could always give them a little slide or something, they scratch their own scrapping on to it, etc.
Or, just sell single test versions of the EZ-test ?
BUT - would the venue operator feel happy about you having a pill testing station like that - attracting police, or worse, media attention ?? Sure, we all think e is the greatest thing since sliced bread ... but we are a minority !!
Still, it would be pretty cool

By off-site I meant not at the club/warehouse/whatever. For us to take any interest in such nights would be asking for attention. We are a drug site afterall - at least that is how we will always appear to our friends in blue. On-site testing may open us up to all sorts of aiding and abetting style stuff. Still, if there is a way for us to do it safely we will definately be helping a lot of ppl out, maybe even saving a life or two. It's worth discussion anyway
