Yes, the voting phase of the current round will begin simultaneously as and run concurrent with the next round... starting and ending on the same days week in and week out.

I'd just like to say that I am much happier with this way of doing things. It's long enough to have time to take a good photo, but short enough to keep things fresh.

Plus opening the new competition while we're still voting on the last one is great too.

felix, I'll post the list of themes done and upcoming later on today in the current photography contest thread. Have to get it off my old lappy. Thanks for your patience.

Overall, I too am happy with the way things are progressing. We're constantly managing to pick up new participants. Where I feel we need help is in voting. There are not enough people participating in voting sometimes and that fact becomes very apparent in the heavier rounds, when there simply aren't enough votes to go around. It would be nice to somehow spread the word that we need voters every Sunday and Monday. Know anyone?

One thing you might consider is stating the name of the theme in the 'polling' thread title. That might pull in more voters (read: it might play better in the sticks). :D

Also, many forums have 'off topic' or Random Gibberings threads. I don't think anyone would mind if you pimped out the contest with a little announcement in those? I bet ya most people don't even know these contests still exist, such is the parochial nature of your average Bluelighter's browsing routine.

No hurry for the list, I've still got B & W, Electricity and Colonoscopy to deal with for now. %)
