is that a bunya bunya tree?
I am surprised you know Bunya Pines atri! Are they common over there in the US?

It's an Araucaria heterophylla or Norfolk Island Pine, closely related to the Bunya, which is Araucaria bidwillii.

Funnily enough, I suspect Wright7882's picture (just above) is also an Araucaria, maybe one of the endemic New Caledonian species. Its a really interesting family of trees. I did an major assignment on them at University :)

Edit: Maybe its Araucaria araucana (Monkey Puzzle) from Chile, almost certain actually.

sheesh some budding botanists here, try this one, some form of leafy bipedal species im guessing 8)

lulz, they were cool

also I was like wtf where did she (presumably under all that) get that stuff from it was a friggin desert, and how could she see where she was going - perhaps a case of not seeing the forest for the trees :P

i used to be a tree trimmer and i always rememberd the cool sounding trees. and the ones that had 30 pound spiked pine cones that could kill you. and giant thorns all over. :D
monkeypuzzles are cool though!

was in Pushkar camel fair in Rajahstan state India. amazing place you can just see some of the camels in the back left, never seen so many dam camels in my life. Basically people from all over the region come into the town with their camel herds to sell and there are massive markets quite a place

I wanted to take a new pic but im always too busy on the weekends and its almost here..

I <3 Trees. This little guy is about 25 cm tall. If I had to guess, it's probably ~8-10 years old. Possibly older.
