I think it's like a chocolate bar, but made of gelatin. A Jell-O bar if you will.

Is it like this type of "jelly" seen eaten by Tim in this episode of The Office? I was always confused after I saw it.
Just clear this up, it's basically a block of raw, undiluted jelly - more akin to tasty rubber than actual jelly.

Not sure about other countries, but the traditional method of making jelly in the UK (or 'jello' if your American... and remember, your fanny is your arse) is by cutting up these fruity gelatin/sugar cubes and dissolving them in hot water... which is then left to set in your fridge. Much nicer than those powder/flake varieties. They come in a vacuum-packed block which can be broken into smaller blocks by strenuously tugging at the pre-formed cubes.

...and yes, scuzzy losers such as myself will often eat them raw.

Exactly. It's the spaceman food you've always dreamt of.

Trouble is, when that amount of concentrated sugar and gelatin hits your upper GI tract, it feels like a depth-charger just exploded in your chest. It's rather unpleasant.

Although, 9 out of 10 crackheads can't be wrong.

So in that clip he's eating it out of the packaging? Is he a scuzzy loser like you? :)

There has been discussion about amor fati's photos being shopped before. Remember that picture of the woman in the red dress laying in the grass in the field?

Anyway, im certain its a long exposure. I imagine it would be in complete darkness, with only a lamp post as a light source. maybe 15 or 20 seconds exposure with a huge aperture. In these photos colours are how colours shouldnt be. Its like you are looking through an animals eye :)
