Its actually a massive mud hole in my backyard that i drained recently and filled with dry soil in an attempt to lessen the ammount of mud at my house after some recent rains.

This and another 4 or 5 shots are what happenned when the water was allowed to drain out............This is the only one that really fits the theme but some of the others have some amazing swirls and colours in them..........I was thrilled with the way they turned out. This is probably the best for disguising the fact its a close up.

I just mention it because its a really neat effect. It looks like satellite photos from mars:

haha.............yeah thats mad, I hadnt thought of satellites........only like a plane or something or maybe a shot of the moon.

Conspiracy theory..........maybe those sattelites dont work and its all just done like I did it.
 
God damnit, most of my area is in flood now after 6 years of drought and there are a bazillion shots i could have used.
 
I think this is going to be one of the hardest ones to choose that I've seen so far, there are so many awesome photos that I would love to just hang all over my walls.
