taken from the top of a mountain in Argentina

earlier he flew RIGHT above us (like literally 15 feet above us), it was amazing, but none of us were quick enough with the cameras, this shot was taken when he was much farther away

i don't remember what species this bird is. i took the photo at the philadelphia zoo (in the avian house), and it's not listed on the info sheet. it's not a bird of paradise and i want to say that it is a starling of some sort. the worst part is that i was at the zoo yesterday and could have checked it out.

It looks like it's a type of Bower Bird imo. I can tell you it's not Australian (is not in the bird book). I bet it is from Papua New Guinea though (PNG), up North. Beautiful creature, huh.

This little bird was amazing, it was a wild bird on Great Keppel Island. I was sitting eating some crisps and sweets when it came flying out from the bushes, landed on my hand and started to help its self. Spent over an hour sitting with me, eating my food and drinking my water. It was clever enough to tip the bottle over so it would spill out on the table letting it drink.
