Aw man, I meant to enter this round. I have tons of great graveyard photos kicking around.

Ocean got my vote.

DG... the colors are so nice
perhaps the colors remind me of this fall tree mural we used to have in my childhood house. Very late 80s of my parents. Lol

I went with RedLeader's eerie photo, to me it just really captures the graveyard atmosphere :)
I also loved DG's for the amazing colours!

I was struggling between Jamshy, Kiwi & Jude until I got further down and saw DG's.

Jammys has an eerieness about it I quite liked.
Depending on the paint job of the car, Kiwis wouldnt have been so good in colour and Judes reminds me of Braveheart or something like that somehow.

Well done contenders. :)

Some really nice shots, but I had to go with Redleader's photo. To me he really nailed the atmosphere & eeriness of a graveyard.

Really liked pillthrills as well :D

Wow, I totally didn't anticipate getting even one vote :) Sweet guys!

So I think I owe you the backstory. 30 months ago, I met the women who I would say is "the closest I've ever come to finding love." She was very much into the whole goth culture (not Twilight - like the actual historical stuff and such). One of her fascinations was with graveyards, though. She had a spiritual connection to them. Our first real date (aside from meeting in a club, which does not count) was going to a huge cemetery and having a picnic one afternoon. We walked around for a while, before settling on that tree in my photo. We did the whole candles and wine thing, along with great food and conversation.

We kind of fell immediately out-of-contact, but started dating properly about 6 months later. Since we both love sunrises, I decided to go and find our spot in that one (I know, kinda cliche, but ya) and take a ton of shots of it right as the sun broke the horizon. Had them all professionally developed and put into a framed collage as a Christmas gift. She loved it so much, and I admit to being proud of that. I WISH I still had a photograph of it in completion. :X

I miss my old camera. It died a tragic death in Thailand, and now I have a $200 Kodak :( I also miss her, but that's not a place to go now ;)

ah shit i missed this round, coulud have easily contributed. ;)

i would have voted dg as well, great composition on that shot. the contrasting colors are nice too.
