Bluelight weekly photography contest Round 117: Candy/Sweets

Hey FJones, this is round 117. This comp has been running for years, and the rules have always been the same.

Please lurk more.
 
Your posts adding nothing useful. I understood the rules as n3o explained them, I was merely pointing out why I think the rule is not a good rule. I don't care how it always HAS BEEN done, if I think I have a suggestion to improve something, I will make the suggestion. Are you implyign that nothing should ever change, that everything should always be done as it always has been done? What kind of world would that lead to?

I find the "please lurk more" comment tiresome and repetitive and a bit obnoxious. I don't know why people seem to think they are really cool when they say that.

Maybe you could start a competition of epic photographs yourself? Or maybe you should have properly read the rules to this competition?

I read the rules. I think they are rather vague. Which rule did I violate? I am the rightful owner of that original picture which was taken with my camera. I don't see why it matters who was holding the camera. So, my lunch companion, who was holding the camera, could submit this and it would be legit?

If you didn't want to derail the thread, you could have sent me a private message. Instead, you used this thread to make TWO posts showing how smart you are and how much you know about the rules of this contest.
 
The photo needs to be taken by yourself and not altered so that your photography skills will shine through. As Klue pointed out, please bring up questions about the rules or changing them in the photography contests discussion thread. Thank you.
