n3o-- you got my vote. It looks both haphazard and well-composed at the same time.

A lot of the desserts in this round looked really good though. IP-- that cake looks deadly. PIP-- did you make that yourself? It looks very well done. I'd love pannacotta if it wasn't for the fact that it's loaded with gelatin. Maybe I should try a version made with kudzu, or some other veg-friendly gelatinizer.

pip took my vote for the beautifully contrasty circles thingy going on. raving looney and n3o come close second for sheer photographic quality. all good entries.

Raving Loony got my vote this round, but I had a REALLY hard time deciding.

she started with one kind but then the cream didn't work (my fault) and so she adapted a dark chocolate frosting to it, so i have no idea what it would be called.

(not to say that the other photos aren't good or anything.. cause they're better than any piece of food i could ever submit)

n3o i loved the angle your picture was shot at. ive never seen a bag of smarties look so "artsy".

in the end i chose IP's birthday cake. the ridiculous amount of berries and homemade effort with the gorgeous backdrop won me over.
