Yep still here, thought i had met that someone special, but alas, it wasnt to be. Just a quick question, is it better to be good friends, and not date, or date, and potentially screw the friendship up? And if u have feelings for a good friend, do u act on them??
 
so what's everyone's views on work relationships?
particularly one with a boy who has just broken up with his girlfriend of 18 months who he was living with and she's still living there cause she hasn't found a place to live yet?

depends on the situation. personally I'd say go for it, but try and suss out if the other person feels the same way first. admitting you like someone then finding out they've never felt that way about you can be kinda awkward and not great for a friendship.
but also remember, nothing ventured, nothing gained :)

I think you might have just answered your own question :)
You could either view the situation as an opportunity to see if something good might come of it, or a risk that should be avoided all together - it really depends on how well you think you could handle it if everything goes pear shaped...and that depends on how honest and open the boy is.

I sussed out the situation, but alas, it wasnt to be, u know who u r, u know how i feel, but friendship is better than screwing it up in the end!! so still single, and getting sick of it

You Damned men need to make up your minds goddamnit... i mean seriously, things happen whilst you're on drugs, but it's up to you as to how you interpret them. You can't hide behind a facade of "i was fucked up at the time" because that isn't a real excuse... a kiss can be simply a kiss and nothing else, but if we both decide that that is how it is, then you can't change your mind a week later, and then change it back a week later still. Correct me if i'm wrong...

Girls are the grand masters of changing their minds. Have you ever waited for one whilst they got ready to go out???
What pisses me off about a lot of women, is that they complain that there is no decent guys left anymore.
They meet a guy, whom they know is a player, prick, arsehole, treats women badly, but still wants to be with him.
After a couple of months, the guys true colours come through, they break up, and the women complains that the guys is a bastard.
YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT!!!!!
(Sorry, but a good female friend of mine just needs to wake up to this fact)

What, you mean more women voice their opinion that there is no decent guys left than guys saying there is no decent girls left?
I think guys are more inclined to not compromise when it comes to relationships. And are happy to just wait for that someone special come along.
Women find a guy that is not quite right, and then try to change him. But that hardly ever happens.
