yup i am single too.................i have been single for 25yrs and counting
i have only ever had flings I've never had a relationship....coz i seem to have insanely stupid taste and only want something if i can't have it
and i am insanely honest..........i don't know how to hide it if i like someone and that appears to scare ppl off........so i'm told - everyone assumes that if you're upfront about liking them you expect marriage and babies - yeah right
oh well i don't care i like being honest - least no one can ever say i led them on.

i don't belong in this thread because i'm not single, but i have something to say.
i hope some of you can remember that being in a relationship is not all there is to aim for. it's nice being with someone special, but sometimes that someone special is not *your* someone special and things don't turn out. if things don't go as you dreamed them, remember that others have different hopes to you, different feelings. it's no good others getting hurt because of your own actions.
i know a few people in this thread who would be wise to think about their relationships, and i mean the ones with their friends as well... be careful guys, and don't let your hormones get tangled up with your friendships.

you're right tho - i've had 3 friendships end because we took it further than just friendship. the first two guys, i couldn't care less about now, but the pain from losing the third friend is still with me over 6 months later. i don't regret what happened, but i do hate that the confusion we created in our friendship turned relationship ended that friendship. i loved this person totally (not in love with him, but i have no other way to express these feelings) - and i really do miss him.
