Here's a thought...
A philosopher known as the philospher of love from the 1800's believed we have no choice but to fall in love as it is our biological fate.
We are slaves to life and we subconciously fall in love, not for happiness (as we try to tell ourselves) but for the reproduction of the species.
We subconciously know which person will make an ideal co-parent to produce healthy offspring.
For example, my parents obviously didn't marry for happiness, although all their children are much smarter and better looking than them LOL. And my friends parents did marry for happiness and my friend was born with 6 fingers.
We deny that reproduction is our reason for picking up, as we don't want to take on the responsibility for the next generation. We do it all subconciously and happiness was never really part of the plan.
If you get dumped or rejected it simply means nature wasn't happy with the combination, and the person who dumped you thinks they would be better off with someone else.
Seems to make sense to me. Maybe i'm just jaded. Your thoughts? Experiences?
