hrm.... yay for mass generalisations people!!
i went to a private christian school and i had friends in yr7 who were drug addicts (and i dont mean the occasional rebel weed smoker). i also have friends who are *still* somewhat afraid of 'the big bad world' and they're almost 22 now. my brothers gf wont have sex with him till they're married.. and hes not in any hurry to get married (and i know he doesnt share her theory). at my school i knew people with obscenely strict morals and those with none at all..
the one thing that i picked up from going to a private christian school is that there is very little taught about sex except that 'you shouldnt do it!', which ofcourse gives rise to people who know very little about how to handle 'sex'. i know of a few people who have 'accidentally' gotten pregnant because they've been taught that sex before marriage is frowned upon, therefore their sexual experiences are more like a quickie in the bushes when no ones looking.
i think its a bit much to target the whole 'christian upbringing', infact i say 'good on them!' if they can allow themselves to have a fulfilling relationship without the sex.. it definately removes one extremely complicating factor...
anyways, im not meant to be in here really ;) i cant call myself single heh

i've been officially single 4 over a month i have 2 check the calendar (few ppl will know it was the night i said i was going 2 get drunk w/ the boys @ peach but didnt end up going cos i felt sick) :( :( :(
i've been thinking about starting relationship w/ some1 but realised it would be apart of my rebound stage i've done that b4 & it wasn't pretty & sex included
so i've decided 2 take a stage of celibacy for 3 whole months (hopefully i don't need 2 buy 2 many batteries) :) :) :) :) :) :)

erm... for all you guys & Girls - we should organise a shopping trip to buy some accessories for those who wish to remain single!!! I live in the Melb CBD behind a Porno shop (yeah some of you know where!! hehe).
I'm on good terms with the owner, They set up a frequent flyer program just for me too!!!
Those who are interested in a shopping trip, let me know!!! I've bought lots of stuff b4 & can give lots of hints and tips to the new/nervous in this area...... (NO IM NOT JOKING!!)
 
Actually those shopping trips can be loads of fun if you go with some friends - I went on a few to Fyshwick when I lived in Canberra a couple of years ago *naughty grin*. What I love is how matter of fact the sale people are when their explaining the relative merits of certain implements vs others ;) .
Mmm... single is fun lately, cos flirting is awful amounts of fun! ;)

Fuck you people give me the shits at times. "Single life is best"? So basically, I should never again enjoy waking up next to someone I love because it's a lesser life for me (and apparently everyone else?)?

What, some random stranger is going to come up to me and say "You're my girlfriend now, come along." and then BOOM! it's all over and it's too late to EVER go back to singledom? And for some reason I'm going to hate being part of a couple as soon as I get there? What kind of ridiculous planet do you come from?
If you're not "free" while you're in a relationship then you shouldn't be in that relationship at all. Being with someone isn't supposed to make you feel trapped or as though you have to constantly answer to someone, it's supposed to help you grow as a person and (if applicable) come out knowing more about yourself than you did when you went in.
FUCKING HELL.
If one more person says "hey you guys, what are you complaining about? Being single is so much better, you don't have to answer to anyone else", I swear I will start handing out black eyes. And I'll be more than generous.
