Lady Chaos
Bluelighter
What is this jumbled mess?
I took twelve xanax to relieve my stress
little blue spots all over the floor
Last night I had eighty, now I have no more
I woke up confused and dazed
Pepperoni pizza covered my face
What is this I see, xanax by chance?
They must have fallen from my grasp
I can't recall the night before
And now my pills lay crunched on the floor
I guess I must have missed my mouth
Took too many and got lost in my house
Why are there cigarette burns on my clothes?
Someone must have burnt me, I suppose
And how did my car get way over there?
I didn't drive it anywhere!
And whose panties are those on top of the desk?
Maybe tonight I should take a few less.
I love this poem - my best friend Jason wrote it while in prison. It is inspired by true events in his life.
