HID bulbs can only approximate sunlight so well, you know?
Sun beats all, I know. But it's tricky here in Holland, while the sunrays might be superior to any lamp, the climate is royally fucked up for cannabis to grow in, so quality of the buds is simply going to be less than it would be under my HPS.
Btw, flowering has just begun on a couple of plants. The 5 largest plants haven't started yet, but the plants in the pots have, the toilet clone, the 2 OB's in the 30 and 50 litre pots, that stalky weird ass looking PP clone I made (put it in the full ground a couple of days ago) and the other PP clone in the 15 litre pot.
And another thing, the last 2 weeks have been shitty.. Strong winds, heavy rain (and I mean heavy; sometimes 50 mm's per 12 hours) and that almost continually, we've had 2 "sunny" days.. It's starting to wear my plants down. One of the biggest ladies completely fell over because of the wet soil, the weight of the plant with all the rain on it and strong gusts of wind. 1 branch snapped of the "sick" plant, but that doesn't matter much. And the clone in the toilet, some of it's branches turned sideways because they're so heavy. And then to imagine that they still have to form buds, not really nice to think about.
Anyways, to get my mind of off that I just had to measure my plants, thought that would cheer me up. 3 plants are well above the 3 metres, the one against the fence 3.30, and the other 2 on the other side of the garden 3.10 and 3.15 respectively. 3 are well above 2 metres, 2 are at the 2.65 (the two topped PP's), one at 2.20 (the toilet clone). The OB's are both 1.85, but that's including the pots, so minus 25 cm's or something. The two clones are 1 metre and 1.60 or something. And indeed. It did cheer me up! :D
