Hi,

I'm an artist and although it sounds stupid I love the look, and the meaning, of the blotter paper and I want to do some work on something which resembles it.

What I want to find out:
#what ink is used in printing/drawing the paper
#what size do each square in the paper have
#what size does the whole paper have
#i've found some old blotting paper, is that it, or do i have to find a certain type of paper?

Thank's for viewing. <3

It has been pointed out to me that this blotting paper is thinner than more modern blotting paper.

and indeed it doesn't look like the right type.
I think what is normally used is called blotter ink, not sure what composition it has. I would personally not like to eat completely colored paper because that's a lot of dye and I wouldn't really trust that.
The size of blotter squares used for LSD may vary, and the complete paper as well.

I know of a blotter vendor (only paper no drugs) that can print custom designs. I have to confer with my colleagues if sharing that info is OK since it is not drugs that are sourced, or that we stick to the general guideline that we don't really like to help people get or make drugs that way.

The size of the ones I am talking about is a 30x30 = 900 sq that has a total of 7.5" x 7.5".
A quick calculation shows that every hit comes out to 0.25" x 0.25" dimensions.

The blotter paper I have seen has always been very heavy weighted paper, almost card stock. I don't think the "blotting paper" for preparing pH strips/cleaning pens is commonly used anymore - but it probably was the origin of the medium!
