Blood, spit and cops: Nationwide drug roadblocks raise eyebrows

The feds want to lower the blood alcohol limit to .05 from the .08 threshold we have now. I thought the study and enhanced enforcement was supposed to end on the 19th

And I hope they do.

Yeah but it would kill revenues for bars. Plus so many people would get DUI that didnt deserve it at all. I can drink 2 beers and blow a .05

How would it kill revenues for bars? People would just get taxi's (let's face it, you don't go out to a bar without any money in your pocket; if you are broke you go to the store to buy and you drink at home), or carpool with sober drivers, or continue to drink and drive and risk it anyways.

You don't have to perform a breathylzer if you pass the physical test. Believe it or not I did pass this sort of series of tests once upon a time (I was 19 at the time; this was way long ago).

Obama is not comparable to the other two in any way.

I must disagree with you. They are all great leaders of their own personality cult.

Obama surely has blood on his hands, directly or indirectly (it really doesn't matter).

It would hurt bars in my area. There is no public transportation to speak of in alabama. Taxis are rarely used by anyone brcause they are expensive as shit 20 dollar call out fee then 3 or 4 bucks a mile i think. Its outrageous. It wouldnt hurt bars profits the first day it passed as most people will continue on with there bar habits as if it doesnt affect them. But over time a shit load of people are gonna start getting arrested. Then the media will start running storys like woman arrested after one drink at bar "drunk driver or draconian laws ypu deci think each individual state has its own specific dui law. So congress will have to tie it in with some big money item like highway funding or something. Politicaly that could get messy as people are on edge already about out of control federal givernment bullying. Itll be a big fight if this gets pushed into congress somehow.

Damn my phone cut some off at top. My point is the law will have to be changed state by state which will be messy. And lots more people will get dui and with how punitive the laws are backlash is inevitable.

If every city was built like NYC--built up instead of out--we'd hardly even need cars. The problem now is anybody who wants to even plan a city out gets called a totalitarian dictator.

now go ahead and make some statement about how communism is just one big centralized totalitarian state

I am not a fan of Obama - I dislike what he has done in almost every way, and consider him a plastic representation of a human being, and a total pushover - but to compare him to Mao and Stalin is going waaaaay overboard.
They were stone-hearted rapists and mass murderers.
Also, if y'all are trying to say his policies are socialist, I suggest you look more carefully at both the definition of socialism and the history of the US.
