Blog Theme of the Month -- Topic Voting! --

Hi Everyone,

So, we were able to get some excellent suggestions so far for the Blogs Theme of the Month. To vote, just reply to this entry with your vote, and by the end of the voting period I'll tabulate the votes and we'll be ready to go!

Oh, and since I was an airhead and forgot to set this up last night, we'll have until Noon Thursday (GMT-7) to vote. Sounds good? Good! ;)

Lacey, just an attempt to spice up Blogs a bit by making a theme for Bloggers to write about every month. It's optional to participate of course, just something new and fun. :)

I think more abstract is favorable.

introductions, survival, life, happiness, travel... are all very tangible. Plus for the most part folks write frequently about these.

color is so subjective...
one could write about a color of something,

the color of an emotion/feeling,

the color inside of anything...

make color into a person/thing, erasing too. ;)
lack of color, or even saturation.

oh jeez, need i even mention contrast, vectors, pixelation, skewing, obtuseness, sharpness and blends!!

alright, i will go back to my paint and get off that way. :)....---~~ahhh chromatics

Blog Pseudo Bump!

Introduction is a good topic for sure (and looks like it will clinch the spot), but I'm going to vote for survival just to be a contrarian.

So far:
Introduction-- 3
Survival-- 2
Colour-- 1

Keep in mind of course, that these topics will all see the light of day, and I'm thinking that we'll use these topics before adding new suggestions to the voting list. Or something along those lines.

Introduction is the perfect way to start off the theme of the month (well-the 2nd theme of the month;))
