Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Small amount of "molly" gave a result of:

  • immediate, strong fizzing
  • a small puff of smoke maybe two seconds later
  • rapid color change to yellowish-orange

The final color, I'd say, is orange--not crayola orange, but most definitely not yellow.

Anyhow, as I said, input would be much obliged.

Let me also say that I'm skeptical that it's 5-MeO-DiPT or harmine, as indicated on Erowid, based on a friend's experience with this powder, which they said was speedy and a bit euphoric.

hmm.....the strong fizzing and smoke could have indicated DXM, but it would usually turn dark black......idk what this reaction could be.

Always go by the colour you see first, within the first 20 seconds. Marquis continues to react with the air and changes colour after time. Judging by the yellow color I would say its probably methelone. It's quite common recently as the effects are similar to a weak dose of mdma.

This could also mean that it is some unknown substance which may or may not be harmful to ingest, do you have any other test kits?

many thanks to you all. i really appreciate the quick responses--went outta town the day after posting so just getting back to this. my guess, from looking at other threads, is methylone...i thought I was up on shit...sheesh. kids these days.
