Biperiden (Akineton) - 6 mg - interesting deliriant effects

Biperiden (Akineton) is an anticholinergic drug used to treat parkinsonism. It belongs to the same group of substances as trihexyphenidyl and pridinol, which I consider the best deliriants for recreational use. Compared to DPH or Datura, they are much safer.

Recently, I tried 6 mg of Biperiden with 105 mg of DXM and 50 mg of DMH to prevent potential nausea and slightly enhance the deliriant effects. I know DXM can increase hallucinations, but I was unsure if it was safe to mix with Biperiden, so I only used 105 mg.

What's interesting is that the effects lasted only about three hours! After that, I felt just tired and went to sleep. The next day, I was feeling okay.

Let me note some of the effects I experienced in my trip:

  • During the come-up, I experienced a nice warm euphoria, but it lasted for like 15 minutes.
  • Body heaviness with 6 mg wasn't worse than with 2 mg at all. In fact, I'd say I had more control over my body than I did with 2 mg. I could even walk. Could it be because DXM cancels out this effect? Idk.
  • I was confused and couldn't follow my train of thoughts. My thoughts were disorganized. I would think about something and then forget what I was thinking about in the middle of the thought, leaving me with a constant unpleasant mind fog and confusion for almost the entire experience.
  • Hallucinations with open eyes were weak, much weaker than what I had on a 300 mg DPH + 300 mg DXM mix. I saw only a few spiders, which disappeared quickly and were transparent, like 20% opacity.
  • The majority of my open-eye hallucinations were just black dots flying in my peripheral vision and glitching of my vision.

The most interesting part was the closed-eye visuals!

When I closed my eyes, I could imagine almost anything I wanted and see it in FULL HD. Very distinct visions, just like a lucid dream. If I kept my eyes closed, I would get more and more immersed in these visions. After about 10 seconds of watching the visions, I would start to forget that I was observing a vision induced by a deliriant drug and begin to think that my visions were reality. This was awesome and intriguing.
I don't remember these visions exactly, but they mostly presented as random scenes from my life over the previous week. During the visions, when I opened my eyes or for any reason was brought back to reality, I was shocked to find myself in my bed because a second ago I was convinced the visions were reality. Many times I noticed that during the visions, I was actually doing something with my hands or my body. For example, if in my vision I was typing something on my phone and suddenly woke up, I could see that my hands were indeed in the position of holding a phone and typing something! Wtf! It was so strange to wake up and see my hands acting like I was holding a phone, but in reality, it was just thin air.

Another interesting vision was something like a mix between a closed eyed vision and open-eyed vision - because I am not sure if I had open or closed eyes. In the vision, I was lying in my bed (just like I was in reality, so maybe my eyes were open?), but I tried to grab something. I don't remember what it was, just some item next to my bed. I tried to grab it, and boom—it disappeared. Just like I had read many times in various datura trip reports. Awesome.

Very interesting - sounds like an ideal drug to induce a waking lucid dream. Is that dosage way higher than what is given for Parkinson’s? (I’ll google lol)

Not really, the usual dosage is 2 mg maybe 4 mg for patients with high tolerance or severe parkinsonism - I am not sure though. I know a dude who ate almost a full package of Akineton, probably around 75 mg, over the day, because he enjoyed euphoria it gave him but was unaware it causes hallucinations. Somehow he didn't notice hallucinations until he finished the package. According to him he hallucinated for 2 days afterwards and it was an unpleasant and scary experience.

I am cautious and therefore I am experimenting with low doses and I'm making my way up to more intense delirium. I am thinking of doing 12 mg next time, with 200 mg of DXM. Hoping to experience realistic hallucinations, especially disappearing objects. However I am aware of how unhealthy deliriants can be for one's brain and I'll be doing them once in a blue moon to give my brain time to heal up .
