These days it seems my mind finds itself
Stuck between confusion and frustration
but yet, never anger.
I wish to congratulate you on the extrodinary job you've done
Of hurling me head first into this conundrum in which I find myself stuck.
From time to time everything seems clear and my mind absolved of all doubt.
However moments like that seem to be few and far between,
Nestled snugly in the cracks of rigid walls that seem to grow taller with each day.
Maybe you refuse to realize that your pillars of apathy, cemented in procrastination are all too transparent to me,
The one who has seen it all a million times before.
I know that your gut says to pick up and run, but how can you do that without stumbling over the pieces of what you left lying before?
I don't know if you see it in me, but I assure you
WIth trust and proven honesty that I can be the one
To help you mend what deceit has torn apart so many times before
But only if you let me.
Only if you let me give you that step up,
and see through the issues that hold you back.
The past, like fog, can loom over you for the longest of days
But the only thing holding you back is fear
Of the light that shines on the other side.
I am here to tell you that that light is me,
And I hope somewhere inside of you, you realize this.
All I ask is that you step through and give this a chance,
Smile as the fog drifts past, and allow
Yourself to believe, that I am noone else.
