Beta-methoxy Phenethylamines

I am curious about the reason why there are only analogues of 2c-b (BOB) and 2c-d (BOD) when others seem possible. I say this simply from a structural observation it is possible my chemistry knowledge is not comprehensive enough and has left me without answer in my ponderings.

part of the reason the beta-substituted PEAs never took off is their significantly higher affinity for adrenergic receptors (due to their similarity fo norepinephrine/ephedrine). this leads them to have more of a yohimbine-type stimulant edge. not to mention the extra difficulty to make them, compared to 2c-x.
reports mention in the entry for BOD (2c-d analog) that there is a notable body load, stimulation, and it is difficult to eat/sleep wit 25mg ingested. this does not suprise me much.
due to various bans of the "good" pihkal compounds, expect to see BOx slowly appear in places 2Cx and DOx are illegal.
fun chemistry fact: the beta-methoxy is a chiral group, so BOx would all have 2 isomers. beta-methoxy-DOx would each have 4. all 4 isomers would have different activity. (probably like a ephedrine/pseudoephedrine pairing). interesting chemistry to be done there.
Maybe call that beta testing?

the beta-methoxy-DOx would, but BOx lack alpha methyl carbons
they could be construed as analogues of the corresponding 2c-x compounds though

Well, basically, the legal implications of the controlled substances analogue act is so nebulous that no compound will be specifically illegal until a court against someone who possesses or traffics it is brought forth, except with very obvious cases, eg, sterioisomers. For example, methylone and many 2Cxs remained freely sold for a long period while MDMA and 2cb have been banned for quite some time.
