Best weed for creativity (indica, sativa ect...)

As a musician, I do sometimes find that being under the influence of something helps to come up with something a little different.

I was just wondering what strains seem to be the best for creativity and if they are mainly indica or sativa. Il consider this for my outdoor grow at the end of the year.

Personally sativa.

it's all head head head and not much couch lock.

I love a big doobie and a couple hours in front of my piano.
 
I do not smoke cannabis anymore, but my most recent experience was last summer with a Sativa strain:

I took a quarter ounce of ground bud and put it into two sticks of real butter, cooked on medium heat for thirty minutes. I then strained the butter and discarded the plant material and added a few teaspoons of sugar to the heated, crystal clear, dark green cannabis butter. I let it cool, then proceded to consume the entire amount of THC-laced butter, with a glass of whole milk.

I was in no way prepared for the full on hallucinogenic experience which followed. I had extreme tactile, aural, visual, olfactory... I swear I could feel, smell, and taste cannabis in every cell in my body. I did not move from the fetal position on the couch for six hours. The visual hallucinations were comparable to those of an LSD trip. I overdosed on cannabinoids that evening.

Fucking knockout Indica's do just that. And don't even get me started on Hash, I might as well be a retard after some Ice-O-lator.

No, I felt nowhere near retarded, just hallucinating way too much to handle well under the circumstances.
 
It's easier to grow weed to be more indica-like. Most of the popular strains are indica and people like the yield, and they never harvest it when the crystals are white...they wait till they turn into couch-locking chemicals.
 
I thought sativa was best. They grow well in the australian climate too. I may go for something like Strawberry cough. Anything from the Sativa Seedbank will do.
 
Good sativa strains, very energetic and euphoric:
- Shoreline
- Strawberry Couch
- Most "haze"

Holy crap MJJ you ate TWO STICKS of butter in one sitting!!! I like my cannabutter straight but I don't know if I'd have the willpower to do that!! lol
 
Any Sativa, though you may want a hybrid because there is such a thing as "too high" under the influence of a very strong Sativa. Good luck and enjoy!

I think pure sativas make you higher than hybrids because subjectively you are not "burned out" or "tired" in any way. That's what makes you geek out so much!
