best way to smoke #4?

my last bag apparently was "dried tar." my new bag isn't, and smokes like garbage off of foil. i really, really liked smoking. am i shit out of luck or do any of the methods google mentions work? like caffeine, how will that work because i need it to be a chunk to run properly down the foil so how can i mix it? some people say a meth pipe will do it. this all involves me going and buying things, so i'd like to just do that once. plus my neighborhood got all fancy recently and the gas station only sells weed pipes now, so i have to get in my car if a bulb is the answer.

i know this is a utfse question, but all i have is a phone at the moment and i'm lazy and most people like sharing tips anyway. no offense taken if closing and telling me to search is the answer.
