best songs of the 90s

The rarest happy hardcore vinyl I own, but a classic in my opinion. Kicks off a couple of Hixxy sets in Dreamscape tape packs :)

Habegale - I Want Your Mind (Alt Mix 2)

Nice, I did go to a few big legal dos and way a regular at Labryth Dalston on weekends where Exodus werent playing, I loved he early happy hardcore sound, fast piano lins that had you rushing so hard you could barely stand, 2 of me favs of that type

Oldskool hardcore, Fat Controller - In Complete Darkness

Ravers Choice - Volume 2 - Keep Rushin

This stuff as well as the hard trance would always kick in about 6am and go on till about 1 or later, only the morning crew could take the pace;)

another class tune

Hard Hands Records - HAND007T - Vinyl Blair

a big crowd of proper ravers, fully charges up in the morning sunshine, exploding when stuff like that got dropped provided an atmosphere like nothing else I've experienced since, these parties ddnt wind down as the morning went on they just poured on the pace, as it should be done

Where is Brimz? I miss full screen old school raver early house tunage etc..Is he OK?

Skunk Anansie - Weak

The Cranberries - Zombie

Evanescence - Bring Me To Life

and loved them or hated them nowt said 90s like...

4 Non Blondes - What's Up

Right going to stop now else will start posting Dido and Sheryl Crow..and yes I am pissed!

Nice choices, smillar taste to mine so it must be good. :sus: I'd forgotten that Skunk Anansie track. Was indeed one of the best of the decade. Such a powerfull and strong track, very ironic that they named it "Weak."

Thats 2 nominations for Angels, Teen Spirit, Zombie and i think 3 for Under The Bridge. Does that make it EADDs best track of the 90s ? This little list would look just like any other readers favourites list featured in Q magazine or the NME and things like that. Except the NME readers would probably be too snobby and wanky to include Angels as it is too commercial and popular. That doesnt stop it being a great track.

Stereophonics - Traffic

Manic Street Preachers - The Everlasting

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BkelHdO7XE Was hard to pick one track, but maybe this was one of their finest of the decade ?

manic street preachers: motor cycle emptiness

Soul Asylum - Runaway Train

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duz-gSwZJUg John Lennonesque, it's that good. A masterpiece. So many different instruments, great harmonica and sax solos.

Dave A. Stewart - Mr. Reed - 1990

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Enb-YjXsqYc awesome guitaring. The solo from 4:00 is beatiful.
