High all

A good close friend of mine is starting her first outdoor grow this season and she's trying to decide on the best soil mix. Some say to go organic with compost and worm castings, while others suggest store-bought options. What have you found works best for healthy root development and good yields?

Cheers

'organic with compost and worm castings' sound s good but for clarification.

Are we talkin potted or in open ground ? As in open ground you can set out live
Worms, while in pots not.

I could add Lava Starch for the whole spectrum of minerals and micro-nutrient s.
Living near unpolluted Sea, washed up dried, so when its fermented a bit,
Seaweeds, also used wild Grasses, after the gouvernement cut s em their
always remains. Uprooting in humid places was also a improvement.

As it a good remedy for stem rot. Drooling as where i recede, Christian rule wit Rightwingers. For year s.Its not tolerated but straight illegal.
Even dealing Speed is tolerated, while illegal ? so no grow for me

If you have the ability: create your own living soil and compost tea from scratch. This will always be your best option.

However, when im feeling lazy (like this year) I use a blend of Coast of Maine Stonington blend (only because it's everywhere locally. I prefer sohum or detroit nutrient when I can) w/ some gai green 4-4-4. Keep a bottle of calmag and your favorite amendments (I like gaia green) handy and you'll be fine.

In the outdoors, I’d just say keep it simple and stick with compost, worm castings, and something for drainage like perlite or coco. If she’s planting straight into the ground, mixing in some good organic stuff really helps. If it’s pots, just make sure the mix drains well and doesn’t stay soggy. I’ve seen people add stuff like kelp meal or dry amendments too, but not always needed.

Have you seen differences between the more intensive method, and the easy way ?
Love living soil, regenerating compost not degenerative compost [death].

Coco in the mix ime 👍In pots Airing Pot s seem also a advantage,
on the plastic standard ones. Were the roots go circles.
And you can make em youself, from Wool/ Felt. Or punch holes in a PP bucket.
