Ok so out of this list of Insomnia Benzo and Benzo Derivative Meds What Has Worked a Treat for you that you have tried?

I have access to all these, and I need a good strong sleeper, tablet form btw.

BROTIZOLAM 0.25MG

FLURAZEPAM 15 or 30MG

LOPRAZOLAM 2MG

LORMETAZEPAM 2MG

MIDAZOLAM 15MG

TRIAZOLAM 0.25MG

NITRAZEPAM 5 or 10MG

TEMAZEPAM 10 or 20MG

ETIZOLAM

ZOLPIDEM 10MG

ZOPICLONE 7.5MG

Even though I mentioned Nitraz, Temaz and Zopiclone, they do nothing in terms of sleep for me, I am thinking either Midazolam or Triazolam may just do it , but also think, of Brotizolam being it a Thieno, it could stack with Etiz another Thieno, Zolpidem is OK, I've actually thought about stacking that with Etiz and trying it, I have my anxiety meds under control and now I just really need a magic pill that makes me get a good sleep and feel fresh the next day, I exercise every day I just have bad Insomnia, had it since birth lol, Weed is another option although it kind of fucks with my head after a while so trying to stick with what I know , Benzos !

Any input of any good experiences with any of em would be great as I don't like wasting money, I have ordered a couple of things now that looked and sounded good and being disappointed. cheers ;)

be careful not to become reliant on a benzo for sleep, as the rebound insomnia can be far more debilitating then what you initially started the benzo's to fix. They also decrease REM sleep, the most important part of a good nights sleep, so in the long term it becomes obvious that although you are asleep, you are not getting a good sleep. That being said they are arguably the most effective class of drugs at initiating sleep in the short term. My personal experience found 2-4 mg of etizolam extremely effective, 1-2 mg of xanax extremely effective, 2-4 mg of lorazepam extremely effective, and 20 mg of zolpidem perhaps the most effective at all of all the benzos I have tried. Tolerance builds so quickly I am pretty much guaranteed to be doubling my dose every month on. The longer lasting benzos tend to be more muscle relaxing than hypnotic but in the right dose range any benzo is going to be an extremely effective sedative. Back in my phenazepam days sleeping 19 hours at a time was extremely common, and pleasurable, until it was time to come off. Then I didn't get a good nights sleep for months afterwords...

How the hell can anyone sleep for 19 hours at a time? That's like going to bed at 11 pm on monday and not waking up till dinnertime on Tuesday

Haha, I take Valium, Sometimes Librium and Klonopin for daytime anxiety as well as Xanax 2mg when required, a good few Clonazepams can get me to sleep but I'm talkin at least 8mg with some Etiz and Codeiene as well, I need to stack shit just to get a kip, its unreal, Got a feeling Midazolam and Triazolam will be good from what I've heard, if none of them work, I'll prob try taking both.

Fuck 19 hours, 6 is a lot for me.

I'm not even gonna say what I use when I need a shovel to the head, mixed GABA-A and B stuff mixed with something else IV is not cool via BL, but if midazolam and triazolam doesn't knock you out, nothing will...

@bomb319 is that rhetorical or are you really asking? either way the answer for me was 6-8 mg of phenazepam with no benzodiazepine tolerance

I've been on temazepam coming up on 2 years and I'm pretty sure that I read that it doesn't affect REM. Tems have always been great for me although the last year I've been mixing them with Lyrica and often weed. Since being on Lyrica I've been able to cut my dosage from 30mg to 15mg (roughly) and haven't noticed much tolerance issues but I don't take them every night. Sometimes I'll take them a couple nights in a row but lately it been every other night.

temaz is just a daytime benzo to me unless I took a really high dose with some weed or drink, Nitraz 10mgx2 can come in handy I suppose, I am running low on my stash and trying to keep a bit of everything so I've just took 5mg Diclazepam with 150mg Oxazepam, see if it does anything haha, them Diclazepams are not bad , took 5 the other day before I went out and they do have a little feel to em, combined with Diazepam I reckon would make a good Benzo. But no chance is 1mg like 10mg of Diazepam

@snake_eyes thanks for the info. I put temazepam and rem sleep into google and the first reference I came up with indicates that temazepam does decrease REM sleep (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10672632, although this was only the elderly. Another source indicates an increase an REM (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6116607) so I guess I was wrong in assuming all benzos just lower REM across the board. I wonder what makes temazepam different then most other benzos?

I used to take Temazepam for sleep and found it helpful, but you're taking so much I don't know how anything short of a literal shovel can put you to sleep... Might be time to consider acupuncture, meditation, something? You can't just keep taking more benzos forever, it's a long climb but there's a cliff at the end.

I've fell down the cliff mate and got bk up I'm doing better now that I ever was , controlled, was just wondering what people reckoned was the best :\

IDK about most of those, here in the US the only benzos you are likely to get a prescription for are diazepam, lorazepam, clonazepam and alprazolam.

Of those I think lorazepam is actually best suited of all those for insomnia, because of its duration of action.

Lorazepam might as well be water to me.

Clonazepam is the best for insomnia hands down.

Out of the list in the OP, midazolam would be your best bet.

8mg Clonaz is well good for sleep but I like it during the day so don't want to abuse it too much
