Best replacement for ludes

I know that that there is no exact match for ludes , but what is the closest drug avaible out there now that would give you similar effects. I want to know what they were like but I know that the are no longer avaible.

Actually - I think that barbituates are closer then benzodiazepines in their effects..
Make your own? Sorry, while there are synths out there, it's a far cry from kitchen chemistry as you have to make precursors to precursors - you're better off making something like MDMA or Meth, selling it, then buying huge amounts of other downers, taking them and forgetting you're not on real ludes anyway!
