Methacodone
Bluelighter
I totally understand they're different types of drugs and chemicals. But I'm interested in other peoples opinions, it should be easier to understand as I post my opinions, here it goes.
ok, this thread is about comparing benzos and opiates. It's kind of hard to explain, but as I post my opinion you guys should get where im going to...I've tried 4 different kind of benzos, and 10+ different kind of opiates. My opiate tolerance is SUPER high, 8+ years of experience and currently taking 80mg methadone every morning. My Benzo tolerance isn't to high, id say its moderate. Anyways, back to the point.
I've tried Valium, K-pin, Xanax, and Ativan. The Ativan ive had twice only, and both times was at the hospital IV'd. So all the other ive had taken them oral, and the Ativan IV'd.
Xanax (alprazolam)
Opiate comparison: Oxycodone
Xanax imo is the oxycodone of the benzo world. it hits you instantly just like roxy IME, Xanax half life is 6-11 hours, where oxycodone is 4-6 hours. Not too far apart. Xanax is the most popular benzo imo, and oxycodone is the most popular opiate, also imo. Both have awesome rushes, when your looking for something to hit you hard, and quick in the benzo/opiate world, then Xanax and oxycodone are def for you.
Klonopin (clonazepam)
Opiate comparison: Methadone
I think K-pin is the methadone of the benzo world. Both have similar LONG half lifes. Methadone is I believe 24-59 hours, and k-pin is 24-50 hours. While k-pin, is used for benzo w/d, and methadone is used for opiate w/d/ For me, k-pin is def. the methadone of the benzo world.
Valium (Diazepam)
Opiate comparison: Morphine
Valium has a longer half life then k-pin I believe valium lasts up to close to 60 hours, 50+ I believe, just a tad bit longer than klonopin., just re-searched more about morphine sulfate, and it actually has a very short half life, some say 120 mins, which is 2 hours, and longest one I saw was 2-4 hours, where the half life is isn't similar. the feeling of morphine just reminds me of valium. its smooth, just like valium, valium doesn't pack a punch like Xanax, and morphine doesn't pack a punch like oxy. The closest opiate I can compare to valium is def. morphine.
Ativan (Lorazepam)
Opiate Comparison: Hydrocodone
Like I said, the only times ive had Ativan was just twice, both times in the hospital, and they gave it to me IV. Ativan is extremely relaxing. , Hydrocodone half life is 4-6 hours where Ativan can last up to 12-18 hours. These 2 are similar because they both hit you instant IME. Ativan takes about 20-30 mins to fully kick in, same as hydrocodone IME. both are also smooth, Ativan is more relaxing than Xanax, and hydrocodone is more relaxing than oxycodone IMO. They pack a mild punch, with extremely relaxing properties. Ativan is my hydrocodone in the benzo world,.
What do you guys think? Please no flaming or any other types of those things, if not interested in joining, please move on to the next thread, thank you.
